Accessibility Statement

At Skillnet Ireland, we are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of technology or ability. We are actively working to increase the accessibility and usability of our website and in doing so adhere to many of the available standards and guidelines.

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

Our website is currently partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA, following the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1, due to non-accessible content listed below.

This Skillnet Ireland website was built using code compliant with W3C standards for HTML and CSS. The site displays correctly in current browsers and using standards-compliant HTML/CSS code means any future browsers will also display it correctly.

As we carry out regular testing and accessibility auditing to ensure ongoing accessibility compliance on our website, we may become aware of certain areas/modules/templates on the website where we could improve in terms of accessibility. We strive to maintain a Level AA conformance to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.
